Ce tournoi a été organisé en été 1930 à Genève, par le club local Servette FC qui avait gagné le championnat suisse 1929 /1930.
Le tournoi pu avoir lieu malgré la première coupe du monde organisée en même temps en Uruguay, car les représentants européens ne sont que 4 (Belgique, France, Roumanie et Yougoslavie).
Le tournoi a également marqué l'inauguration du stade des Charmilles.

This tournament was organized in summer 1930 in Geneva, by the local club Servette FC which had gained the championship Switzerland 1929 /1930.
The tournament which been able to take place in spite of the first world cup organized at the same time in Uruguay, because the European representatives are only 4 (Belgium, France, Romania and Yugoslavia)
The tournament also marked the inauguration of the Charmilles stadium.
