Hello my name is Steven Spraggs, i am nearly forty years old. I live here in East Ham, east London.
I am married to Karen we have three children Roy 11 Charlie 9 and Jack who is 7. I follow for my sins! west ham united!
I collect football club badges that like my club West Ham have a pair of crossed hammers on there badge. The reason we have a pair of crossed hammers on our badge is it go's back to our ship buliding roots the Thames ironworks when the hammers / irons was used to bang in the rivets.
I have now over 450 crossed hammers badges in my collection.
I know that many of the hammers on the badges i have represent miners!
I am looking to add to my collection as far as i am aware i am the only collector of theses badges! I am starting to write a book about this subject. I need photos of the grounds and information. if anyone can help it will be appreciated. I will also put all the names in the book who help .
I also collect west ham badges.

Je collectionne les club de football qui comme mon club Wet Ham ont des marteaux croisés. La raison pour laquelle nous avons une paire de marteaux a pour origine la construction navale sur les bords de la Tamise. Les ouvriers frappaient les rivets avec des marteaux d'acier.
Je sais que la majorité des insignes avec marteaux représentent des clubs de villes minières.
Ma collection compte environ 450 insignes avec marteaux croisés.
Etant à ma connaissance le seul collectionneur de ce genre, je cherche à augmenter ma collection. J'ai commencé à écrire un livre sur ce sujet.
Des photos et informations seraient les bienvenus. Toute personne pouvant m'aider serait citée dans ce livre.

Busco todos los clubes que tienen martillos cruzados como mi club West Ham. La razon por la cual tienemos un par de martillos tiene por origen la contrucción naval sobre elo rio Thames. Los obreros golpeaban los remaches con martillo de acero.
